Urban Accessory and Jewellery brand SIX have joined forces with Oxfam Ireland to raise some much-needed funds for poverty by opening a new store, Six 4 Good. The first of its kind, Six 4 Good hopes to raise essential funds for people across the globe living in poverty or in crisis by donating all of its profits to Oxfam Irelands causes.
Six and Oxfam Ireland’s association has created the perfect platform to create an awareness of the poverty gap and the struggles that charities face creating a lasting change in over ninety countries worldwide.
With its new store now open in The Stephen Green Shopping Centre, Dublin 2, the successful European brand is selling a wide range of new fashion accessories and jewellery for men, women and children. The store also promises to offer a variety of products such as hair accessories, sunglasses, bags, purses, mobile phone accessories and homewares.
Michael McIlwaine, of Oxfam Ireland, said, “Opening a shop which exclusively sells brand-new items from a single brand is an innovative departure for us and we’re delighted to be working with our long-standing partner Beeline on this unique collaboration.”
Although SIX stores have not reached Ireland’s shores yet they brand have become a successful urban fashion accessory and jewellery store in Europe and America. Launching in 1998 under the Beeline Group, six now has over 166 stores and 1,700 concession stores throughout Europe, turning the brand into one of Europe’s market leaders in jewellery and accessories.
Having kindly donated all products free of charge to Oxfam Ireland enabling them to ensure all profits are going to support the charity’s important work worldwide in emergency response, long-term development and campaigning, including projects with women and girls.Mr. McIlwaine added: “the handbag you buy in SIX 4 GOOD for €16 could provide 50 bars of soap for 50 Syrian families displaced by conflict, helping hygiene and preventing the spread of deadly diseases.”
